On Friday April 20, I blogged for the City Paper about 3 DC area gigs that weekend in the following genres: reggaeton, son and duranguese. While bachata is seemingly the most popular Latin genre on radio and is getting the most crossover attention, the other genres still live on (and sadly get very little crossover attention from the media).
