* Tango--Soul and Heart at the Kennedy Center at 5 pm --The Choral Arts Chorus’ 170 voices will perform with the Pan American Symphony Orchestra two choral works by Argentine composers: Alberto Ginastera’s “Lamentations of Jeremiah” and Luis Bacalov’s “Misa Tango,” featuring Tango rhythms and the iconic sounds of the bandonéon. The second half finds Tango dancers Andres Bravo and Carolina Jaurena performing the Argentine Tango to traditional and folk Tango songs, including works by Astor Piazzolla, performed by members of Choral Arts, PASO, and soloists Anamer Castrello and Javier Array.
